🦁🦒 What a wonderful day at Scovill Zoo for their Dementia Friendly Day! 🐒🐘

Our residents had such a fantastic time enjoying the animals, making memories, and simply getting out and about in our community. 💙

A HUGE thank you to Scovill Zoo for giving our residents the opportunity to visit completely free of charge. We are so grateful for your commitment to making our community more inclusive and accessible for those living with dementia.

Decatur businesses never cease to amaze me with the way they show up and support the people in our community. It truly takes a village, and we are so fortunate to be part of one that cares so deeply. ❤️

On Friday, September 18th, we’re celebrating the talents, careers, experiences, and amazing stories that make our Carriages family so special! ❤️

Our team members will be taking the stage and showing off their hidden talents for our residents! Singing, dancing, comedy, and a few surprises—you never know what you might see! 🎤💃😂

We’ll also be taking a trip down memory lane with photographs of our residents from their working years! Residents, staff, and visitors will have the chance to see if they can guess the careers and occupations our residents had throughout their lives. 🥰
